LMCP organised a Field Visit to Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS), Ahmedabad District Branch for Diploma Pharmacy First Year students on March 16, 2024. The visit was aimed at providing practical exposure to students regarding the various testing facilities at IRCS and also imbibe social values in our students by acquainting them with the social activities run by this nobel NGO. The IRCS members demonstrated and showed the latest technology at Highly Sophisticated Laboratory for testing of Thalassemia and Anaemia, Radiology Centre, Physiotherapy Centre and Artificial Limb Centre. Students also visited the Senior Citizen Home ‘Vatsalya’ at the IRCS campus where they had a prolific interaction with the elderly members staying there. The students also learnt about the role of youth in First Aid Treatment and Disaster Management.
